Just commenting and pointing out one of my apparent speech errors. I said “Joanna, wife of Susanna”. I apparently skipped a line while reading the text in verse 3.

Luke 8:3
and Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s household manager, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their means.

Pastor John Pethtel is an excellent speaker for our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ. Though I have never attended his church I am blessed
with his messages. We need to hear the Word of God preached today
in our churches.

Since most Christians still continue to keep Sunday as their Sabbath
day, I pray we will share more with others the importance of keeping
God’s true Sabbath as His Word has commanded. Preaching the Word
of God through His Holy Word alone, as He has entrusted us to do.

I had a great time caroling and visiting with some of the folks at the nursing center. I also enjoyed the time at my house. We ate a lot of food, talked a lot, and had some fun. Thanks everyone for participating! If you weren’t there you missed out.

Leviticus 4:
Sin offerings of which I understand more fully through Jesus becoming one are covered here. One of the things I did not notice before is the difference between intentional and unintentional sins and between the sins of the leaders and the common people.

Proverbs 19:
Some words of wisdom about interaction with your family (in particular a father to a son). Some encouraging and some correcting. Need to examine some of my motivations to discipline.

Psalms 1-2:
Psalm 1 explaining the difference between righteousness and wickedness and Psalm 2 explaining the Anointed One who was righteousness.

Colossians 2:
Christians, Live as though you are Alive! Use your freedom in Christ wisely.
